Lila’s Honey

Basimakopoulos beekeeping was founded in 1998. It operates as a family business based on the love for the Bee, the taste and the passion for good and quality honey. Within a few years the number of hives increased, the production of different kinds of honey became necessary to serve the different tastes of the consumer. Our goal is the production of excellent quality honey with the special characteristics of the plants of Ermionida. But we don't stop there. By practicing nomadic beekeeping we produce excellent forest honeys from our own beehives. The transfer of bees to different places helps the bees themselves and the producer in the disposal of honey with special characteristics, aroma and taste. We also produce all the products of the hive such as pollen, wax, propolis and royal jelly. Lila's honey is known among foreigners visiting Ermionida and those who keep in the area cottages.
